We actually heard about the world’s first Lamborghini Huracan with a six-speed manual gearbox a few months ago, when American shop ‘B is for Build’ inserted the gearbox from an Audi R8 into Sant’Agata Bolognese’s baby supercar.
So if you’ve always wanted a gated 6-speed instead of the Huracan’s factory-standard seven speed dual-clutch gearbox, then we imagine you’d be onboard with what’s going on here. Oh and the gear lever itself, that came from a Gallardo.
If your goal was to build a car worthy of SEMA, then the gearbox swap would have probably been enough to make this Huracan stand out. However, the guys from B is for Build didn’t stop there. In fact, they replaced the Lambo’s stock V10 engine with a tuned LS V8 engine from Texas Speed, capable of producing 1,500 HP at the wheels.
Then came the other mods, like the wide-body kit, the carbon fiber inserts, the new flat bottom and top steering wheel, custom wheels, custom hood and a whole bunch of other stuff that you wouldn’t normally expect to see on a Huracan.
Now the only question is how fast is this car really over a 1/4 mile? Hopefully we’ll get to find out soon.
